Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Zeng Qi. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,062.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Qi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 33,040.00 (€ 3,636.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Zeng Qi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.062,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Qi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 33.040,00 (€ 3.636,44) versteigert wurde.
