Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Morning On July 10Th, 2005 by Zeng Hao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 596,000.00 (€ 60,624.51), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Hao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the noon, 26 June, 2003, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 231,439.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Morning On July 10Th, 2005 von Zeng Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 596.000,00 (€ 60.624,51) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Hao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In the noon, 26 June, 2003 beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 231.439,95) versteigert wurde.
