This artwork by Zeng Hao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work 5:00 am, 3 April 1999 sold for HKD 780,000.00 (€ 64,214.65) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Hao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the noon, 26 June, 2003, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 231,439.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zeng Hao erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit 5:00 am, 3 April 1999 für HKD 780.000,00 (€ 64.214,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Hao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In the noon, 26 June, 2003 beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 231.439,95) versteigert wurde.
