The »bidding war« ended at HKD 600,000.00 (€ 49,395.89), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zeng Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the noon, 26 June, 2003 in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 231,439.95).

Die Arbeit 1998.9.19 19:00 von Zeng Hao wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 49.395,89) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In the noon, 26 June, 2003 im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 231.439,95).
