Despite a disappointment, a good price for Zeki Faik Izer
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Zeki Faik Izer for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,996.35). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Zeki Faik Izer that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Zeki Faik Izer
Im April 2012 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zeki Faik Izer für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.996,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zeki Faik Izer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
