Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Turkish Untitled (Black Tughra) by Zeki Faik Izer was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,001.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeki Faik Izer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2012 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,996.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Turkish Untitled (Black Tughra) von Zeki Faik Izer kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.001,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeki Faik Izer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2012 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.996,35) versteigert wurde.
