Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Mountain by Zaw Win Pe for HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,703.44). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Zaw Win Pe have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2018 by the work Landscape at HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,386.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mountain von Zaw Win Pe für HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.703,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zaw Win Pe wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2018 die Arbeit Landscape mit HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.386,03).
