Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Zahoor ul Akhlaq was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,709.10). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zahoor ul Akhlaq - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zahoor ul Akhlaq wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.709,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zahoor ul Akhlaq mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.002,85) versteigert wurde.
