Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Untitled, 1960 by Yvonne Audette. The price achieved of AUD 4,674.00 (€ 3,961.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvonne Audette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Construction In Oil, No. 21 in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 1960 von Yvonne Audette zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 4.674,00 (€ 3.961,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Audette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Construction In Oil, No. 21 im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 90.000,00 (€ 53.817,90).
