Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Ocres, Jaune Et Vert by Yves Gaucher. The price achieved of CAD 39,000.00 (€ 29,139.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Yves Gaucher have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Study For "Six Squares" was auctioned for CAD 39,000.00 (€ 30,477.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ocres, Jaune Et Vert von Yves Gaucher zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 39.000,00 (€ 29.139,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Yves Gaucher konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Study For "Six Squares" für CAD 39.000,00 (€ 30.477,03) versteigert.
