A top price for Yusra Martunus - as previously expected
The work Art Series by Yusra Martunus was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 240,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Art Series is the most expensive artwork by Yusra Martunus that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Art Series von Yusra Martunus kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Art Series das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yusra Martunus, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
