Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Mur de Venise by Yuri Kuper. The price achieved of EUR 2,640.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuri Kuper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,877.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mur de Venise von Yuri Kuper zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.640,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuri Kuper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.877,21).
