A top price for Yuri Kuper - as previously expected
This work without title by Yuri Kuper was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,877.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Yuri Kuper that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yuri Kuper wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.877,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yuri Kuper, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
