Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tertawa (Laugh) by Yunizar was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,037.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yunizar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kisah merah (The red story) in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 907,500.00 (€ 74,711.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tertawa (Laugh) von Yunizar kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.037,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yunizar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kisah merah (The red story) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.500,00 (€ 74.711,28).
