Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Apel Di Atas Meja (Apple On Top Of The Table) by Yunizar. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,377.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yunizar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kisah merah (The red story) in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 907,500.00 (€ 74,711.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apel Di Atas Meja (Apple On Top Of The Table) von Yunizar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.377,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yunizar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kisah merah (The red story) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.500,00 (€ 74.711,28).
