Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait With Curly Hair by Yunizar was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,975.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yunizar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kisah merah (The red story) in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 907,500.00 (€ 74,711.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait With Curly Hair von Yunizar wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.975,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yunizar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kisah merah (The red story) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.500,00 (€ 74.711,28).
