Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Komposisi Botol Kosong (Composition Of Empty Bottles) by Yunizar was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,792.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 220,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yunizar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kisah merah (The red story) in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 907,500.00 (€ 74,711.28).

Die Arbeit Komposisi Botol Kosong (Composition Of Empty Bottles) von Yunizar kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.792,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yunizar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kisah merah (The red story) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 907.500,00 (€ 74.711,28).
