Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coretan Rasa Iii (Scribbles Iii) by Yunizar was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,795.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yunizar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kisah merah (The red story), which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 907,500.00 (€ 74,711.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Coretan Rasa Iii (Scribbles Iii) von Yunizar kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.795,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yunizar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kisah merah (The red story) beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 907.500,00 (€ 74.711,28) versteigert wurde.
