In the Russian Art auction, the work Winter In The Forest Near Lake Peipus sold for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 54,485.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julius Sergius von Klever - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winterlandschaft., which sold at auction in September 2007 for CHF 264,000.00 (€ 159,060.97).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Julius Sergius von Klever erzielte im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Winter In The Forest Near Lake Peipus für GBP 49.250,00 (€ 54.485,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Julius Sergius von Klever mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winterlandschaft. beobachtet, die im September 2007 für CHF 264.000,00 (€ 159.060,97) versteigert wurde.
