Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Zou - Form by Yuichi Inoue. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 151,200.00 (€ 16,188.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuichi Inoue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shisso (Painted In 1972) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zou - Form von Yuichi Inoue zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 151.200,00 (€ 16.188,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Inoue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shisso (Painted In 1972) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61).
