The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Yuan Keding was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 51,000.00 (€ 5,776.82), 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Keding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tao Yuanming'S Essay In Running Script, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,163.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Yuan Keding wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 51.000,00 (€ 5.776,82) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Keding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tao Yuanming'S Essay In Running Script beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.163,13) versteigert wurde.
