In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Su Zhou Storytelling And Ballad Singing by Yu Tongfu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,004.50), 64% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yu Tongfu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape sold at auction in March 2019 with the realized price of HKD 53,100.00 (€ 6,025.06).

Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Su Zhou Storytelling And Ballad Singing von Yu Tongfu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.004,50) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yu Tongfu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape im März 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 53.100,00 (€ 6.025,06).
