A top price for Yu Tongfu
This artwork by Yu Tongfu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 53,100.00 (€ 6,025.06) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. This high result makes Landscape the most expensive artwork by Yu Tongfu that we have observed at auctions so far.
