In June 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Pine Tree by Yu Shaosong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,951.18), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yu Shaosong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Landscape in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 40,295.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine Tree von Yu Shaosong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.951,18) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Shaosong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Landscape im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 40.295,51).
