This artwork by Yu Shaosong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Dwelling in the Mountain sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,246.17) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Shaosong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work River Landscape, which sold at auction in April 2019 for HKD 354,000.00 (€ 40,295.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yu Shaosong erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Dwelling in the Mountain für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.246,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Shaosong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit River Landscape beobachtet, die im April 2019 für HKD 354.000,00 (€ 40.295,51) versteigert wurde.
