Each leaf inscribed and signed, with a total of fifteen seals of the artist Dated autumn, xinsi year (1941) Titleslip inscribed and signed by Wei Tingrong (1890-1974), with one seal Dated summer, wuzi year (1948)
Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yu Shaosong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. In the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Flowers sold for HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,841.60) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yu Shaosong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Landscape in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 40,295.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yu Shaosong erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Flowers für HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.841,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Shaosong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Landscape im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 40.295,51).
