This artwork by Yu Shaosong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape after Wang Meng sold for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,230.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yu Shaosong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Landscape in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 40,295.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yu Shaosong erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape after Wang Meng für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.230,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Shaosong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Landscape im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 40.295,51).
