Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Yu Shaosong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,501.46). Admittedly, works by Yu Shaosong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Landscape in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 40,295.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Yu Shaosong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.501,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Shaosong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Landscape im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 40.295,51).
