Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Shirin Neshat) by Youssef Nabil was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,300.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Youssef Nabil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maelema- Fifi Abdo in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 91,300.00 (€ 65,711.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Shirin Neshat) von Youssef Nabil kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.300,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Youssef Nabil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maelema- Fifi Abdo im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.300,00 (€ 65.711,82).
