This artwork by Youseff Sida achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2020. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Hindya (Indian Woman) sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,345.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Youseff Sida; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Egyptianuntitled sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 50,746.12).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Youseff Sida erzielte im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Hindya (Indian Woman) für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.345,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Youseff Sida; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Egyptianuntitled im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 50.746,12).
