Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition Abstraite by Jules Chapoval was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 1,148.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Chapoval achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les toits - 1947 in December last year with an auction result of EUR 19,680.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition Abstraite von Jules Chapoval wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.148,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Chapoval erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les toits - 1947 im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.680,00.
