A top price for You Yin - as previously expected
The work Landscape After Tang Yin by You Yin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,240.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape After Tang Yin is the most expensive artwork by You Yin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Landscape After Tang Yin von You Yin kam im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.240,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape After Tang Yin das teuerste Kunstwerk von You Yin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
