This artwork by You Yin achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Ink Chrysanthemum sold for HKD 37,760.00 (€ 3,887.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by You Yin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Tang Yin in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,240.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von You Yin erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Ink Chrysanthemum für HKD 37.760,00 (€ 3.887,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von You Yin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Tang Yin im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.240,48).
