Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yoshitaka Azuma achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2019. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour auction, the work I was in love sold for EUR 1,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yoshitaka Azuma; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Twinges in the chest sold at auction in June 2020 with the realized price of EUR 3,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yoshitaka Azuma erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour wurde die Arbeit I was in love für EUR 1.875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yoshitaka Azuma; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Twinges in the chest im Juni 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 3.250,00.
