Upper estimate price exceeded by 100 %.
This artwork by Jiro Yoshihara achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Contemporary Online auction, the work Work sold for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiro Yoshihara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 4,880,000.00 (€ 570,114.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiro Yoshihara erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Online wurde die Arbeit Work für HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.553,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiro Yoshihara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.880.000,00 (€ 570.114,11).
