Despite a disappointment, a good price for Yoon Kwang-Cho
In September 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Punch'Ong Triangular Vase by Yoon Kwang-Cho for USD 1,195.00 (€ 962.39). This price was achieved in the auction Japanese and Korean Works of Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Punch'Ong Triangular Vase is the most expensive artwork by Yoon Kwang-Cho that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Yoon Kwang-Cho
Im September 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Punch'Ong Triangular Vase von Yoon Kwang-Cho für USD 1.195,00 (€ 962,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Works of Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Punch'Ong Triangular Vase das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yoon Kwang-Cho, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
