A top price for Yoichi Ohira
When the work Colata di Lava n. 16' Vase by Yoichi Ohira was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2017, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 50,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at GBP 162,500.00 (€ 185,281.81). This high result makes Colata di Lava n. 16' Vase the most expensive artwork by Yoichi Ohira that we have observed at auctions so far.
