Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Xenia with poppy flower, poppy flower petals, poppy seeds, fresh cut poppy capsule with opium sap and wisdom teeth" by Ylva Ogland was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 47,000.00 (€ 5,099.60). Admittedly, works by Ylva Ogland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Loka med Mona Lisa nr 1" in November 2013 with an auction result of SEK 360,000.00 (€ 40,402.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Xenia with poppy flower, poppy flower petals, poppy seeds, fresh cut poppy capsule with opium sap and wisdom teeth" von Ylva Ogland im November 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 47.000,00 (€ 5.099,60) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ylva Ogland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Loka med Mona Lisa nr 1" im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 360.000,00 (€ 40.402,76).
