Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hola Amazon by Izzie Wang was sold in the Close to Home: Christie's Staff Art Show auction at Christies in New York in August 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 125.00 (€ 107.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Izzie Wang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hong Kong Street Scene in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,187.70).

Die Arbeit Hola Amazon von Izzie Wang wurde im August 2018 in der Auktion Close to Home: Christie's Staff Art Show bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 125,00 (€ 107,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
