Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Front of House/Back of House, which included the work Alpaca Li Li by Izzie Wang. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of USD 250.00 (€ 211.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Izzie Wang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hong Kong Street Scene in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,187.70).
