A top price for Ying He
When the work Calligraphy by Ying He was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 10,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than six times as high at HKD 68,440.00 (€ 7,532.63). This high result makes Calligraphy the most expensive artwork by Ying He that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Ying He
Als die Arbeit Calligraphy von Ying He im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 10.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 68.440,00 (€ 7.532,63) mehr als sechsmal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Calligraphy zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Ying He, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
