Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Regular Script by Ying He was sold in the Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 7,560.00 (€ 856.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ying He have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 68,440.00 (€ 7,532.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Regular Script von Ying He wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 7.560,00 (€ 856,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ying He auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 68.440,00 (€ 7.532,63).
