In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Studio In Secluded Mountains by Yin Zixiang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 47,214.32), 60% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yin Zixiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horses, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 1,156,400.00 (€ 119,054.75).

Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studio In Secluded Mountains von Yin Zixiang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 47.214,32) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yin Zixiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Horses beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 1.156.400,00 (€ 119.054,75) versteigert wurde.
