This artwork by Yin Zixiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Horses sold for HKD 1,156,400.00 (€ 119,054.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. This high result makes Horses the most expensive artwork by Yin Zixiang that we have observed at auctions so far.
