Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yin Xiuzhen (Set Of Ten) by Yin Xiuzhen was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,710.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yin Xiuzhen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portable Cities: Vancouver, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yin Xiuzhen (Set Of Ten) von Yin Xiuzhen wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.710,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Yin Xiuzhen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portable Cities: Vancouver beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.002,85) versteigert wurde.
