Despite a disappointment, a good price for Yin Xiuzhen
When the work Portable Cities: Vancouver by Yin Xiuzhen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85). Despite this disappointing result, Portable Cities: Vancouver is the most expensive artwork by Yin Xiuzhen that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Yin Xiuzhen
Als die Arbeit Portable Cities: Vancouver von Yin Xiuzhen im März 2008 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
