Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese & Korean Art, which included the work Landscape by Yi Sangbom. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,640.01). Admittedly, works by Yi Sangbom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Summer in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 79,000.00 (€ 55,559.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese & Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Yi Sangbom zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.640,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yi Sangbom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Summer im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 79.000,00 (€ 55.559,46).
