Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Poem In Clerical Script by Yi Bingshou was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,861.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yi Bingshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 369,826.20).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Poem In Clerical Script von Yi Bingshou wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 33.861,00) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yi Bingshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 369.826,20).
