Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Couplet by Yi Bingshou. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 306,800.00 (€ 36,104.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yi Bingshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 369,826.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couplet von Yi Bingshou zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 306.800,00 (€ 36.104,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yi Bingshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 369.826,20).
