Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Yi Bingshou was sold in the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,042.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yi Bingshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 369,826.20).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Yi Bingshou wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.042,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yi Bingshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 369.826,20).
